Call for three Directors

The Noosa Shire has achieved global recognition from UNESCO for the high values of its natural environment.

The Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation Ltd (NBRF) is a charitable organisation, established by Noosa Shire Council as a company limited by guarantee and trustee for the Noosa Biosphere Reserve Trust, a charitable public fund.

NBRF is inviting Expressions of Interest for three voluntary positions of Director of the foundation board.

NBRF pursues projects and activities aligned with the intentions of the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Program. Some of the exciting projects we support, include Mapping Koala Health, Bringing Back The Fish and the Noosa Trail Masterplan. Visit our Projects page for more information.

The roles of Directors will be both challenging and rewarding so we are particularly looking for experienced individuals with skills in governance, philanthropic fundraising and communications.

Selection Criteria

  1. Prior work within an organisation and working with a team
  2. Experience in not for profit organisations
  3. Governance experience
  4. Knowledge of Noosa and the work of the NBRF
  5. Philanthropic fundraising and or communications expertise
