This year’s Noosa Biosphere ‘Wild Koala’ Gala shines a light on what we can all do to secure a future for our precious koalas.
Special guests Prof Peter Timms, USC; Dr Romane Cristescu, USC Detection Dogs for Conservation; Meghan Halverson, Queensland Koala Crusaders Ambassador; Rosie Booth, Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital; and Rachel Lyons, Noosa & District Landcare will discuss their leading research in this space and what we all can do to help save this treasured icon.
Enjoy a sumptuous two-course menu with amuse bouche and matching wines by chef Matt Golinski, eco-fashion parade, Best Dressed & Silent Auction prizes awarded, special guests, plus after-party on the Terrace!
This year we launch the Noosa Biosphere Awards celebrating the people, organisations and businesses making a difference in our community. Winners will be announced in a special ceremony during the event.
This year’s Noosa Biosphere Gala marks the 50th Anniversary of the UNESCO Man and Biosphere (MAB) Programme.
All proceeds of the event will go towards the Noosa Biosphere Wild Koala Fund.
Hosted at Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas, the Noosa Biosphere Wild Koala Gala is set to be the biggest Melbourne Cup-alternative event in the region!
