Nominations for the Noosa Biosphere Awards open 29 July and close 8 September.
Recipients will be announced at a special ceremony Wednesday, 6 November 2024.

• All individual entrants must be, at their date of entry, residents of the Noosa Shire, or their initiative/activity must predominantly be in the Noosa Shire.
• All organisation entrants must operate predominantly in the Noosa Shire, or the activity must be for the benefit of the Noosa Biosphere Reserve.
• The successful recipient will be available and committed to promoting Noosa Biosphere values throughout 2024/2025.
• Winners of the awards will be announced at the Noosa Biosphere Awards ceremony Wednesday, 6 November 2024.
• A nomination does not constitute an entry. Nominees will be notified of their nomination. It is up to the nominee to submit an eligible entry by the closing date.
• Entrants should not use the nomination form. Only entries submitted through the official entry form will be accepted and considered.
• All entries must be submitted online by the provided form on the website.
• Entries will be accepted for more than one category.
• Entries close midnight Sunday, 8 September 2024. Entries or nominations received after this date will be ineligible.
• In the event that no entries are received in a category, or judges find no entries eligible or worthy in being named recipient of a category, the Awards Committee reserves the right to grant the award to an individual or organisation of its choice, or revoke the award category for that year.
• Entries will be deemed ineligible if the field of service is illegal or if the Awards Committee considers it would diminish the integrity of the NBRF or awards.
• The promoter is Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation Ltd (NBRF), PO Box, Tewantin, QLD, 4567.
• Entries should address the specific entry criteria for the category being entered.
• NBRF reserves the right to accept, reject or refuse any nomination or entry at any time.
• NBRF does not accept responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries.
• NBRF may vary the terms and conditions of this competition at any time at its absolute discretion.
• All category winners will be selected by an independent judging panel. The panel’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Finalists and Winners for each category may be published in media as part of promotions of the Awards. Entrant contact details may be provided to the media when requested.
• Prizes for each award include a certificate and trophy. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any other services.
• If there is any event that prevents or hinders NBRF’s conduct of the competition or NBRF’s ability to deliver the prize to the prize winner of the competition, NBRF may, in its discretion, cancel the competition and recommence it at another time under the same conditions or select another winner.
• All entries are the property of NBRF and will not be returned to entrants.
• Finalist and Winner entry information submitted may be used in Award promotions or during the ceremony presentations. NBRF reserves the right to not use any content if it deems it would diminish the integrity of the NBRF or awards. NBRF may request alternative content or choose not to use any for that entrant.
• Employees of, or category sponsor organisations, are ineligible to enter that category. They may enter other categories and are subject to these same award entry rules.

The collection of this information is authorised under the local government act 2009. Your information will be used when determining, announcing and promoting award finalists and winners, and they may also be used for the purpose of promoting the Awards with your permission. Your information will not be given to any other person or agency unless you have given us permission or we are required by law.
