Spencer Hitchen is a 15-year-old inspirational Youth Conservationist, Environmental Educator and Award winning Nature Photographer on a mission to safeguard wildlife and wild places from the brink of extinction. His journey began with the inception of Save Sunrise Glossies, dedicated to protecting the local Wallum Ecosystem. At the age of 10 he started a global petition to protect this ecosystem, going on to gather an impressive almost 86,000 signatures. Now eight years into his ecological crusade, Spencer has inspired millions across our planet and brought the voice of youth conservation into the global spotlight.
Spencer was born here in Noosa and spent his entire 15 years of life growing up loving and protecting nature in our Biosphere.
