We’re back, Coolum! After a year off for renovations, our annual beach clean-up returns on Sunday 1st March, just in time for Clean Up Australia Day.
Hosted by Coolum & North Shore Coast Care in partnership with Coolum Surf Club and Gage Roads Brew Co, this will be our fourth community clean-up event. At our last clean-up, volunteers collected over 50kg of rubbish from the beach, making a real difference to the health of our coastline. Let’s go even bigger this year.
This event brings together locals, families, nippers, and visitors who want to help protect Coolum Beach from marine debris and plastic pollution. Removing litter not only improves the beauty of our beach but also protects marine wildlife, including our local sea turtles.
