Noosa Landcare will be hosting a full day rainforest trees and shrubs I.D. workshop with botanical guru, Marc Russell, on Saturday the 15th August 2026 from 9AM-2:30PM at the Rural Futures Centre, Pomona.
Rainforest diversity can be a little overwhelming when it comes to species identification. Join Marc as he steps you through practical identify tips and tricks of local rainforest plants.
The day includes an information session on rainforest tree and shrub plant identification, followed by a ‘walk and talk’ session to identify rainforest species.
Light refreshments and lunch provided.
Participants are provided take home ID resources.
Please wear enclosed footwear and long-sleeved clothing and bring along a hat and water bottle for the field walk component of the day.
