Join Surfrider Foundation Sunshine Coast from 16–18 October 2026 for a community clean-up in the Cooloola Recreation Area, Great Sandy National Park.
This free event is an opportunity to get involved in practical coastal conservation and help care for the beaches and natural environment around Double Island Point. Whether you’re a long-time environmental volunteer or simply looking for a hands-on way to give back to the coast, the weekend offers a chance to make a tangible difference while connecting with others who care about protecting our marine and coastal environments.
The event begins at 8:00am on Friday 16 October and continues across the weekend until Sunday 18 October.
Participation is free, but registration is required through Eventbrite.
