2024 Noosa Biosphere Awards

Noosa celebrated community and environmental excellence at the 2024 Noosa Biosphere Awards, celebrated on Wednesday 6 November at the Sunshine Beach SLSC.

Presented by the Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation and proudly sponsored by Noosa Council, the event shines a light on those leading the way in sustainability and positive impact in the Noosa Biosphere Reserve (the Noosa Shire).

Around 175 guests gathered in the Ocean Room with vista views of the Pacific Ocean, where the Noosa Biosphere Reserve stretches 3km out to sea.

The event commenced with an hour of mingling and networking amongst 2024 finalists and winners, friends and family, peers and like-minded community members. Live musical performance by singer/songwriter and pianist, Emma Tomlinson filled the room.

Keynote speaker, Professor Ian Lowe AO reminded the audience that the little actions we take (or don’t) add up and so our movement towards a sustainable future rests in the hands of us all.
