Media Statement: Tuesday 4 August 2022

The Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation confirms Rowan Rafferty has resigned as Chair of the Board as of 25 July 2022.

The Board has thanked Rowan for his passion and dedication to the Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation during his tenure as both a Director since August 2020 and Chair from December 2021 and wishes him well in his new endeavours.

We look forward to announcing a new Chair in coming weeks.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the Noosa Biosphere, the Kabi Kabi. Thank you for your enduring example of custodianship and care for the world we all are a part of and not apart from.
