Ever wondered which native bushfoods you could grow in your own backyard? 🌿
Join Noosa & District Landcare for Growing Your Own Bush Tucker, a practical Landcare Link-Up exploring the diverse range of local bushfood species that can be grown on your property.
Enjoy a cup of lemon myrtle tea while discovering how edible native plants can be incorporated into revegetation projects, home gardens, landscaping and syntropic farming systems. Learn how carefully selected bushfood species can provide food for people and wildlife while enhancing biodiversity, improving habitat and adding another productive layer to your landscape.
The session will be presented by Marc Russell, who brings more than 40 years of experience in environmental management. Marc has worked across organic farming, Landcare, native plant nurseries, revegetation, bush regeneration, ecological consulting and environmental education.
Having supported conservation initiatives throughout the Sunshine Coast, Gympie and Fraser Coast regions, Marc is passionate about helping people connect with and care for the natural world.
