What’s Brewing Behind the Dunes is a relaxed and engaging science event that brings local research to life. Hosted by Coolum and North Shore Coast Care, this community evening invites you to discover the fascinating environmental science happening right here on the Sunshine Coast.
Hear from expert guest speakers as they share insights into current research and conservation work. Topics at this session include the Eastern Ground Parrot, Glossy Black-Cockatoos and local microbats, highlighting the science and stories behind some of our region’s most unique and threatened species.

About What’s Brewing Behind the Dunes
This event is free of charge and food and drinks will be available with a wood fired Pizza Truck on site and beverages available for purchase at the bar. Complimentary pizza slices will also be available during the evening. Children are welcome and activity sheets will be provided to help keep them engaged.
