Anna brings extensive leadership and community engagement experience to her role as General Manager of the Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation. With a genuine passion for the region’s unique environment and heritage, Anna is committed to advancing the Foundation’s mission to inspire sustainable living practices, foster research, and promote biodiversity conservation throughout Noosa, in full alignment with UNESCO’s Man and the Biosphere Program.
Anna’s strategic leadership background encompasses stakeholder engagement, not-for-profit management, and partnership development. She has successfully united diverse community partners, government agencies, and businesses around shared economic and sustainability goals. Her proven expertise in grant writing, program delivery, and fiscal management has been instrumental in securing funding and ensuring the long-term sustainability of important regional initiatives. Anna holds deep respect for and commitment to nurturing collaborative relationships with the Sunshine Coast region’s First Nations people, recognising their vital role as the Traditional Custodians of Noosa’s natural assets.
With extensive experience in industry development, the tourism and Vocational Education and Training (VET) sectors, Anna brings valuable expertise in education and capacity building to her role. She is dedicated to fostering meaningful collaboration, securing sustainable investment, and empowering local communities to realise their shared vision for a resilient and thriving Noosa Biosphere Reserve where people and nature will continue to flourish together.
