About the event

The annual Noosa Biosphere Awards celebrates the people, businesses and organisations championing social inclusion, environmental stewardship and sustainability in the Noosa Shire.

The UNESCO recognised Noosa Biosphere Reserve, on Kabi Kabi/Gubbi Gubbi Country, is a celebration of community and environment. Our Noosa Biosphere is one of 748 places in the world that has been declared by UNESCO as having achieved a notable balance between environment and sustainable human development.

  • Wed 6 November, 4-7pm at the Sunshine Beach Surf Life Saving Club – upstairs Ocean Room
  • Limited parking available. Please allow enough time to find street parking and car pool where possible.
  • Cash bar available, light meal provided

Terms and Conditions for Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundations:
Awards 2024 Ticket Giveaway.

1. Introduction
1.1. These terms and conditions apply to the competition (“the Competition”) run by Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation (“the Promoter”). 1.2. By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility
2.1. The Competition is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or older. 2.2. Employees of The Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. 2.3. Only one entry per person is permitted.

3. How to Enter
3.1. Entrants must sign up online at Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation’s website to enter the Competition. 3.2. Entries must be received between 21/10/2024, and 03/11/2024 (“the Competition Period”). 3.3. No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition.

4. Prize
4.1. The prize is two tickets to the Noosa Biosphere Awards 2024 Event on 6 November, 2024. (“the Prize”). 4.2. The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. 4.3. The Prize must be redeemed by 4 November, 2024, and is subject to availability.

5. Winner Selection
5.1. The winner will be drawn at random on Tuesday 4 November, 2024, from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period. 5.2. The winner will be notified by email or phone within 24 hours of the draw. 5.3. If the winner does not respond within 24 hours of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

6. Announcement of Winner
6.1. The winner’s name will be published on Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation’s website and social media pages. 6.2. By entering the Competition, entrants agree to the publication of their name if they are the winner.

7. General Conditions
7.1. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition if circumstances arise outside of its control. 7.2. The Promoter’s decision in all matters relating to the Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 7.3. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

8. Privacy
8.1. Personal information provided by entrants will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the Competition and will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. 8.2. By entering the Competition, entrants consent to the use of their personal information for promotional and marketing purposes by Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation unless otherwise advised.

9. Governing Law
9.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. 9.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
